Video Conference facility
Video Conference facility has been established at CMERTI, Lahdoigarh in 2015. The VC room was inaugurated by Dr. H. Nagesh Prabhu, Member Secretary, Central Silk Board, Bengaluru on 16th October, 2015. The first VC session was held on 30th November, 2015 in which discussion was held with Central Office, Bengaluru.
Library
CMER&TI maintains a library rich with good collection of books and scientific journals (national and international repute) which cover all facets of sericulture and related sciences. The library facilitates research personnel and other staff to keep abreast of the latest developments besides serving as a knowledge resource centre
Training Hall cum Hostel/Conference hall/ Quarter
The institute is facilitated with a well equipped conference hall for conducting meetings, seminar, workshop etc. For performing training programmes, a Training hall is constructing with a 36 bed hostel for accommodating trainees & sericulturists. Apart from this, the institute is facilitated with a Quarter complex for accommodating staff and a Rest house for accommodating guests
Museum
The institute has recently developed a museum with display materials of vanya silk related products, different technology charts.
Computer
The institute provides computer facility for all the laboratories, office and library with LAN and internet facilities for easy assessment of literature and communication
Soil Science & Agro-Chemistry Laboratory
The institute is having a Soil Science and Agro-Chemistry Laboratory equipped with Kel plus nitrogen analyzer assembly, Water bath, Hot air oven, Rotary shaker, Centrifuge, pH meter, Water distillation unit, Electronic balance etc. for doing soil analysis of total nitrogen, available nitrogen, phosphorus and potash
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Laboratory
This laboratory of the institute is strengthened with PCR, Gel documentation system, Ultra cooling micro-centrifuge, Orbital shaking incubator, Gel electrophoresis systems, HPLC System, Platform rocker etc. for doing protein and DNA analysis.
Pathology Laboratory
Pathology laboratory of the institute is well equipped with Laminar Air Flow Chamber, Bacteriological Incubator, Stero Zoom Microscope, Autoclave, Humidity Chamber, Deep Freezer etc. to perform research on management of different host plant and silkworm diseases and to study host pathogen interaction of various diseases
POST-COCOON TECHNOLOGY LAB.
The unit the equipped with muga reeling machines, cocoon dryer, silk plus for cooking, eri spinning machines etc. for reeling and spinning
